I have always wanted to be a “Wedding Planner”. I’m an organizational nut, have such a burning love to watching two people say I do and their families bare witness to the start of their new forever. My journey started in pastry design, transitioned to floral design and rounded out with coordination and creative detailing! I am a graduate of the Hospitality program at SUNY Buffalo State College and have extensive experience in all aspect of events, service and hospitality.

I decided on the name Bushel & A Peck one day sitting on my living room couch with my closest friends. My sister in law had purchased a little pillow for me for Christmas that said “I love you, a bushel and a peck”. She knew it was a song that my Mom sang to my Brother and I when we were little and it is now a song I sing to my sons. We were discussing my plans for my business and what I wanted to accomplish, but that I hadn’t come up with a name yet. I happened to glance up at my shelf where this pillow sits, and it just felt perfect. Bushel & A Peck is a name that holds so much unconditional love in my life, and it’s also the love that I’m filled with while assisting you on your events.

Every love song, love movie or love saying - you bet I love it! My name is Julia, and I wholeheartedly am a sucker for love. More specifically, the love that is shown & shared at weddings. It’s the only day that all your favorite people, favorite music and favorite person are all in the same place at the same time. With that being said, you should be able to enjoy this day to its very fullest.

My goal as your coordinator is to make you feel like you can freely take in every moment of your special day! This day is SO important and only happens once, so you shouldn’t have to worry about a single thing day of. I will be there in the background taking care of any and everything for you.

My passion for weddings started with my very own. My coordinator exceeded all my expectations and was more than I ever could’ve asked for. I always said that if I were to coordinate weddings, I would want my client to feel the exact relief and happiness that I felt my entire wedding day because of her. Fast forward 3 years and here I am!
